Its crap isnt it!
I spoke with Adidas Customer Care (Essex) last year a few times and they do indeed have someone who scours ebay daily looking for fakes etc , what happens after that they wouldnt tell me?! I was also told by Adidas not to buy anything Adidas from Ebay as they reckoned at least 80/90% was counterfeit ? I think if you keep your wits about you your ok and sites like this have certainly helped many people. Your right you can send shoes to Adidas to have them checked out and is free of charge etc but should buyers really have to do this just to see whether they have the real thing or not? I dont think so not in this day and age. Ebay i assume makes a monster profit every year with quite low overheads i think so they could employ more people to help combat this issue but the question is do they really want to? Judging by the appaling responses i have had to my last four letters (the last one has yet to be replied to) i dont think the give a damm and probably hope i will give up as i cannot call anyone or contact anyone direct. A faceless organisation , clever really i suppose!

EBAY and adidas are currently on the fake situation. They are trying to stamp it out. Any fake sellers, continue to report them as its all happening, but very very slowly.
I got done buying a laptop this week, the bastard called me to check I had payed then never sent. I called him to see where it was and he said he hasnt a clue what im on about. NICE.
Dont worry, i have his phone number and am in his location this weekend (LONDON)
Ebay have already closed his account down. doomz_2 incase anyone wanted it!!!

I would like to think so but im not so sure normally those sort of people get away with everything and its the nice normal people who get hurt etc.
