My house is certainly not made of glass, I have never and will never camp outside a shop for a week of my life in order to buy something, I've never queued up for any amount of time to buy any of my trainers, the vast majority have been brought from the comfort of my own home. Why the fuck would I spend an entire week outside on the street in front of some shitty shop when I could just order the crappy thing online, those people are stupid fucktards.

I know. Obviously, I get wanting the "new thing" but I'd never camp or line up for it. I ordered mine online. 2 people I work with got them in midtown Manhattan only waiting for 20 minutes.
BTW, depending on where you are, the LTE may actually be faster than WiFi.

Yeah. You order early enough you get the device on the day the people who line up do. It's what I did with my latest iPad.
End of the day, it's a phone and it will be junk in two years. Unlike soops, which only get better with age.

Got mine delivered on Friday.
That online ordering thing isn't as straight forward as you think.
They went on sale at 8am and had sold out by 9, apparently.
I love it but that's hardly surprising as I'd suffered long and hard with the 2G up until the last 3 months when I was lucky enough to have a 3G...................
Oh, and my network is being allowed to roll out LTE at the start of October so, boom tish!

I personally wouldn't camp out to buy anything, be it the latest gadget or a pair of kicks. But in my opinion doing so is no more retarded than having a room full of pretty much identical shoes, some of which I've owned for years and not actually got round to wearing yet. The money I've spent on those blue boxes could've help pay for my daughter's education, taken us on a kick-ass family holiday, bought a new kitchen, paid for the surgery I could use on my shoulder or countless other things we (think) we need. Or I wonder how much better all that money could've been spent if I'd given it to someone like Dregz to use in his work in Africa? When I look at it in those terms, I do feel slightly hypocritical scorning someone just because they chose to wait inline to get their latest phone. We're not that different.

You could go mad thinking about shit like that and end up selling everything.

I can understand the need for this super dooper broadband speed if you are Jason Bourne or a Merhcant Banker *hsssss, but it's nuts all this... it's hardly the dial up days. You have time to stew a tea bag don't you?
If you want a bigger screen I get that, I use mine as a desktop so it is necessary. If you got a free upgrade then fair play to you.

For me it is just the best functioning phone there is... I don't mean iPhone 5 (yet) because I haven't tried it, but iPhone in general. One of the best things is AirPlay that you cannot have with any other phone. I can play music wireless from anywhere in our apartment through our amp and big speakers.
I think I've said it before that there is nothing wrong about Samsung and if someone likes to use Nokia, that's OK too. For me it is just iPhone.

Maybe it because I don't really get having to have the latest thing that I think these people are dickheads , I don't tend to replace things unless it actually needs replacing, my car is 13 years old, my laptop is 6 years old, these will only get replaced when they break, the only reason I got a smart phone was because the buttons stopped working on my old phone.
I personally think apple products are overpriced for what they offer compared to similar products so would never buy one but there's plenty of things I've brought over the years that most people would look at and think what a sad twat but at least I didn't have to become a hobo for a week in order to buy them.
Its not people buying the products that I have issues with, each to their own and all that, its the morons that waste a week living on the streets outside a shop that gets me. The ipad 3 launch was the worst case of apple related retardavitus, people queued for nearly a week to buy something that on the day of launch you could walk into any electronics store or even Tescos and buy off the shelf, there is no way what so ever you can justify idiots queuing in that situation.
If these people had spent a week queuing for some god awful Jordon shoe that would be readily available everywhere in a months time most of you would also be mocking their stupidity!

In the absence of religion people need something to believe in. Thus, they queue.

I don't believe in God, it hasn't given me the urge to become a trap for a week.

I wouldn't camp for a week for a new phone or pair of sneaks. But if other people want to then that's cool man, whatever makes them happy. It doesn't hurt anyone.

I see how Apple looks to you Gregg but trust me, if you ever replaced that laptop with a Macbook say, you wonder why the fuck you hadn't done it years ago.

I'm not saying they're not good products but I personally feel they are over priced and for what I use my laptop for it is an unjustifiable expense, if I was some artsy designer person I would probably buy one as for that type of thing they piss all over pcs but I'm not so therefore I wont
