It certainly is attractive way of doing things..if you check their vins-burgundy now at £49..was £75...onyx now at £39..was £88..I guess there must be a rrp..somebody has to set a price..it certainly made me look to see if they have them in my size etc..if I were you I'd def think of ways to up sales..if it's tacky or not..sales are sales

As long as it isn't massively "in-your-face" I think it's good. I've been drawn to kicks simply because they were £xx under retail (didn't buy them because I was skint but it certainly drew me towards them)

I think it's a good way to promote sales although as you say, I personllay look at the current price regardless of what it may once have been or RRP etc

Thats an old marketing trick shotta!!most people look @ the saving not the actual price so presume there getting something @ a steal from what the price should be.Although people who actually follow say the adidas market can spot when its some bullshit price being made up and there not saving jackshit.
I'd say its worth a try shotta it works for countless sellers online and on the highstreet by highlighting the saving it deffo draws attention.
It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em

Its a weird old thing the RRP Shotta!
I guess the RRP on a pair of Ian Browns was £130 when they came out but the appreciation is different.
With sooooooo many fakes out there people see 'ooh £12.99' for a tee but the REAL product prob costs that to you Shotta before you added your overheads etc.
I think people would buy from you anyway mate because of the reliablity factor. Even legit ebay sellers are messing with 'grey area' stock to a certain extent so a pucker adidas seller liek you is going to corner the market sooner or later.
Fuck the RRP in my opinion, just keep selling the real deal, which reminds me! Can you get hold of the adicolor pen tees in XXL?

It can't hurt. We all know the score and would use you anyway, but any new people will obviously see the price differences and buy from you.

Initially offer them at RRP and when you decide they need shifting offer them at a discount and for sure, show the saving in both percentage terms and the new price.
Everyone likes a deal.
They did a study and showed that when they sold chocolate brownies for £1 they didn't sell too well but when they offered them for £2 and offered a BOGOF they sold shitloads cos people thought they were getting a bargain.
