I wonder if just buy it now, it will remove the virus? It's something called "antimalware doctor" that I've got which is basically a virus acting as a malware remover. I get annoying pop ups all the time...I already have norton system works and it didn't prevent it...I guess norton is shit! Apparently what I have is not that difficult to remove but I haven't done it yet. Brand new computer though, so pretty annoying.

First you have to turn off your system restore (look for windows help). Then try to remove it from "uninstall programs", but probably it's not there. Then download this free version: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
and do a full system scan.
After these steps you can install nod32.

I guess I lucked out and norton actually did remove it when it scanned it...I know Norton sucks though not so much because it doesn't work well but rather because it's such a large program that really slows down both your startup and system in general. I was told this after I spent $70 on it....Is this eset program a firewall/antivirus deal or just antivirus? as soon as my norton subscription runs out I'm getting something new. alll you guys can't be wrong about it so it must be good.

@airtech: Eset offers both antivirus and smart security (antivirus + firewall) versions. It's pretty light a software comparing to many of its competitors and doesn't hog up all the resources yet it's highly powerful and capable against viruses and other threats. eset.com
@sab: Damn that sucks.

Saw a pair of Unions in my size online, but stock photos. Mailed the guy/shop to see if I could come by to check them out or if he could send pics of heels and serials of the actual shoe. Nothing!
