If you want one of these majic phones then i guess you have to look at the MP3 player market and how the ipod blatently dominates that..

Its not cos its cool to have an ipod.. its cos ipod have the best interface, and they work WELL!

Im not a apple nut, but the ipod certainly does the job well..

IMO they should of teamed up with the best phone maker in the world (nokia) and put all their ideas in one basket!

THEN the phone would of been AMAZING!

Iphone, like i said earlier is jus all hype. jus like the 8600 luna fone. They're also both overated and the luna is shit!only if u hav a sexual fetish to get mugged should u buy one.believe. Ma mate had one for 2 days. gave it back as it attarcted to much attention and the fone was wack!

I actually just got back from apple store last night to get an iphone, but decided to check it out one more time to make sure it's the right phone for me. Texting is a bitch on the iphone, I guess my finger is just too big, and I'm used to type without looking at my phone, so it's a big hassle for me. The camera is shitty and when I tried to go online and checked on AT&T website (it's the service provider for iphone in the US), it won't even open it! When I asked the guy why, he only said "sorry, anything with macromedia player or flash won't show up on your iphone"

So I bought the iTouch instead and still looking for a phone to replace my shitty N80.

unlock them so they are sim free
and you have a very nice PAYG phone for your money
or just keep your old contract runnning and sell the phone that you had

If uv got the money, then yea an iphone would make a great second PAYG fone i.e. genie sim (who remembers those, let alone stil got 1?!).but thats it.as a main fone its wack.style over substance as anth rightly says. get N91 but make sure it don't crash or ever been dropped or N95.F700 is shit hot, if u can wait that is.or wait for the iphone nano, if rumors are true. can anyone confirm that theres a nu improved iphone, poss nano in the pipeline, or coming out soon. I think there is but not 100%.safe.

Maybe so.I might be wrong on the rumors. But at the end of the day, 2m camera wid no flash, no mms support (in UK anyway), can't use ur music files as ringtones and no GPS. N95 has 5m camera wid video thats DVD quality, sat nav, GPS, mms support, more durable and sturdy.

If anyone else made the iphone i.e. LG and it had that spec it would be a turkey but cos its by apple, the hype shoots through the roof. and b4 its said that i don't hav an iphone, i don't. but friends of mine hav the iphone and i haved used it for the day.. Its not the worst fone ever and to b fair, it all depends on wot ur after out of a fone but iphone jus doesn't do it for me so therefore in my eyes, and in my opinion, and in my experience, its wack!

Mind you, each to their own. it all depends wot u look for in a fone...

I was Crowndale road myself. recently moved out the area hence me goin on theforum at odd sporadic times until very recently. I stil work in camden though.never knew u lived in camden though. I moved away from the area and ifuckin miss it!stil down there most days though. how long u lived on parkway then?u live by jazz cafe or towards regents park?
