Has anyone got a decent contact email address at ebay? I'm starting to get sick of reporting the same fake sellers over and over again with ebay never doing anything about it.
We need someone we can contact directly and maybe we can finally get these twats shutdown.
Anyone???

I have a personal account manager with eBay. Apparently there are teams of 'experts' who conduct the reviews of sellers. It is clear that a lot of fake sellers have passed these reviews, so these 'experts' either dont know what they're doing or take 'other factors' into account.
I've tried offering help but they say they dont need it, my account manager is happy to pass things onto the Trust & Safety dpt, but I cant get a direct contact there.
I hate to say it but I've given up on them ever doing enough to stop fakes on eBay.......so this forum, and showing people how to spot fakes, is the best way to go.

I have been rowing with ebay on and off for over a year and i have got nowhere, Half the time the replies you get to the complaints dont even make sense and feel like they are a templated response and each reply was from a different ebay bod which is annoying as there is no continuity and is very poor customer services. My last mail hasnt even had a reply despite two more prompts from me for a reply.
Ebay just dont care and seem to feel that they are above the law and base all their findings on a sellers feedback which is frankly ridiculous as most buyers havent got a clue wht theyve bought and we all know you can buy feedback.
I too have offered my help and referred them to this site for guidance but i heard nothing back. Adidas Customer care (Essex) also say they have dedicated people searching the Web most notibly ebay but they wouldnt tell me what they do they just advised me not to buy anything Adidas from ebay!
I think ebay think that as this is the Internet it doesnt really matter and the Law doesnt apply , unfortunatley it does but no one seems to keen on tackling them.
All we can do is keep reporting , keep pestering and maybe it will pay off eventually.

Maybe we should get some people together who've lost out and had no recourse from Ebay or Paypal and start a class action.
The publicity alone should prompt Ebay to do something.

I reckon there must be some way in which ebay are responsible.
I find it hard to beleive they can write a clause into thier terms and conditions that basically allows them to take a cut of the profits from selling fake gear.
It just really winds me up when I see the same people selling piles of fake kicks despite my constant reporting of them as fakers. This could even be an angle to take with this - Maybe ebay are allowed to let fakers sell stuff if they have no reason to doubt them, but if that seller is constantly being reported then this much change things? This must mean ebay have to investigate surely???
Mr Shoeshotta, I'd be happy to contact the guy you mentioned personally and not mention you at all if you'd be ok for me to do that? I can see you might not want to though as you sell so much via ebay
I remember scottswiss said he knows a few ebay bods in Switzerland, maybe we can collar him?
And I'm not bothered who's reading this. Maybe someone from ebay will see it and realise we're not gonna just stand back and put up with it.

I agree Woody , somethings got to be done.
I find it incredible that an organiastion thats as big as ebay has no credible complaints system and is virtually uncontactable. You cannot pop into a branch , you cannot ring , you cannot write either ( i think) unless by e- mail. As i found out if you dare to ask them outright a question that they dont like they just dont reply so what can you do when a company does that despite me asking for a reply, it leaves you with nothing and i suspsect many people just give up which is what i think ebay wants us to do.
I cant beleive they have escaped prosecution for letting fake merchandise being sold on their site which makes it their responsiblity in the eyes of the law, if they were a high street shop they would have long been closed down or severly fined.
I was wondering about contacting Watchdog as only a few months ago they did a piece about fake merchandise and the ebay representative in the studio said it was all being stopped! Yeah right!

That's the reasoning behind me continuing to submit fake reports.....but I know a lot of people have reported the same sellers, and they're still selling so maybe if the sellers have already passed the reviews they dont bother?

I cant give you the contact details - she will know that it was me! But maybe the best idea is to put a whole load of stuff together - maybe individual complaints from all of us on here, plus something detailing the amount of fake stuff on there and the factors that we would take into account when deciding if something is fake etc. I could then pass this on, but I still couldnt be certain it would get to the right people and they would act on it.
Now orries mate I understand
Might be an idea to get a decent amount of stuff together but is there any point? Like Sooper says, they never bother to reply to anyones emails, you can't call them up, you can't even get a straigtforward email address from them - it all has to be done through those stupid bloody contact pages.
