Horst died in 87, Tapie bought adidas in 88/89 (it think) and shifted production to Asia so guessing it was during his reign (until 92) when the French production stopped.

Thanks vox. Been away for a while. Got a new job. Moved house. And so on. Haven't had much time for sneakers. Only lurking here from time to time.

Seems adidas is concentrating on 80s more and more. Can't remember the last pair of SS II's I bought tbh.

Saw those snakes somewhere near Orlando for about $40. Was very tempted but couldn't figure out how to fit them to my luggage.

Picked up those snakes for $52. But at $40 I woulda bought 2 pairs lol. Bet you're kicking yourself on that one
