i understand that point. i've never worn mine with shorts. always pants. i'm not a skinny guy, so loose fitting pants are the norm for me, so it works out.

They are a great pair for khaki shorts and a tshirt. Just need to make sure I have the beer and sunshine to go with it.

Actually. A thought!! If one was to run them with a pair of proper fat laces, do you reckon you could create the ilusion of making them appear less blocky?

Nah. . Can't see fast laces making them look less chunky. Think they are the most chunky skates that were made. Give it a try though. I've just got standard laces in mine

Yeah it is but unfortunately these are not for me. Way to big to fit. Got them for my friend. I hope he is as happy with them as I am. Bet he will be.

Nice pickup Lex, love the first gen skates, nice and fat. Got quite a few first gens myself, but never got these ones. Good job.
Lovely vins ez, one of my faves after the Bordeauxs. I dropped the dark red laces from my Ian Browns in my pair, looks nice.
