I thought some of you said the quality on these was better than on other 80's. in my opinion they are exactly the same.
Postie also dropped these. Finally!!! Deadstock from 2006. Took about a month to get here from the US. Thanks for the help Mike!

Yeah, nothing special about the leather. I do prefer this tongue over the foam one in the 08's. Nice pickups Rob!

Hmmmm. You must have a from a different batch than I got, then. Leather on mine is softer/more supple than any other 80's that I own.
In fact, you can kind of tell, if you look at the lateral, that it "sags" more than typical.(these are the same size as any other 80's that I wear)

I cant really say that yours look different from any other 80's. I'll do some comparing tonight with my Frenchies that are closest to these. The sagging is a common 80's thing
