I've always wanted an iPad, but at the moment I am saving up for a macbook. Some of the guys at work using them for site surveys, and presentations, and our other company uses them as interactive displays at expos.

I think they are great for entertainment, but definately don't do the job of a laptop/macbook.

I think that they are on the brink of making serious headway into the medical field, at least here in the US. That was one of the reasons for the higher res display, so docs could use them to look at MRI/XRAY results.

Are there any places for getting films cheaper than iTunes or free? Or is it possible to upload your own to iTunes and sync to iPad?
Cheers
