Residential Burglary.... learn from my story

For my house to have over 40 pairs of Supes and for them to take even only 4, I just knew that they were bound to wear them. I just knew it. If they were just sneaker theives, they would've taken the whole bunch. But these punks took the ones that they liked so that they could wear them and be different and show them off. Burgled the wrong homeowner!!!! I go to a hearing next week for one of the punks. Seeking restitution, so we'll see what happens.

Won't true restitution happen afterwards...for about 30 seconds and 50 beatdowns later

You don't know how hard it was for me to resist tackling that guy on the BMX bike and busting him up BEFORE I called the police. But, opted to not stoop to their level.

Great tips. Echo the comments above, it's an amazing story and good to know justice will be found for the bastards

here's the marking that I put on my shoes....
notice the blue dot over the word "in" where it says "Made in Indonesia"
and then the big "E" under the sole for the first letter of my last name which worked out pretty good because it also bled onto the bottom of the innersole, so two big "E"s on each shoe. i learned that some soles are glued in on nearly the entire bottom and are extremely difficult to lift up. Others have very little glue and yet others have no glue at all.
oh, in case someone asks, the model in the pics are these....

i had that same security. look at the center of this pic.
doesn't do any good if the homeowner isn't present to use it
just lucky the burglars didn't use it to bash in all my windows and TVs and monitors.

i had a dog also probably barked his stinkin' little head off. his eyes are the only eyes that saw the punks. need to mount a video cam on his tag hanging from his collar

Glad you got some of your stuff back, when I had a bigger collection I had them covered under our home insurance as a collection, at one point I had them covered for up to £5k.
Me and my housemate caught a burglar in our house once, he was happy to take a shoeing rather than us call the police... So we went a bit Pulp Fiction on him, gave a good kicking and called the Old Bill, when they turned up they asked if there had been a "struggle" and gave us a wink!!

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in while you could miss it.

finally got around to cleaning up my Supes recovered from the burglars. they cleaned up real nice for the most part. they took the original gray laces and these were the closest color that i could find. the red/white/tans still have some stains on the tan material that just won't come out....OxyClean, PreWash Stain Remover... oh well. all in all, a decent clean up job and they're wearable out in public again. still debating if i even want to wear them since some young smelly punk gangsters were sporting them. but i think with mega doses of Febreze and laundry detergent run through them, they should "funk" and "scum" free at this point.
