Did anyone watch it on C4 last night?
It was basically telling about the war between graf and "street art"...
Robbo and Banksy..
I cant believe how bad the double standards are in regards graf and street art..
They actually repair banksy's stuff if its vandalized... yet if someone does and amazing piece of graffiti next to one.. its removed and the banksy is left!!!
Cos it adds value??
Madness!
What are your thoughts RE it?

I saw that, Im not into art, graf ,street art any of that stuff but i can see there point to an extent. Someone writting an illegible sqwiggle on a wall is a mess were as an actullay picture is something to look at. It did seem as if art fartty types have a hardon for banksy putting perspex over his stuff and letting other people stuff get painted over or scrubbed off.
I also watched exit through the gift shop. That french guy is a legend totally rips off everyone elses stuff and daft cunts with too much money believe the hype he sells almost ï¿¡1000000 worth of crap in a few weeks, you could see the "real" street artists were pissed. It just shows what a joke the art world is.

No one listens. Proper writers have known and been saying since day one that Banksy had completely bitten Blek and his whole style was a rip-off, how no one else outside of the graf world has bought it to light before now is beyond me. Hopefully this program will open a few more eyes across the nation and people will finally end this ridiculous gushing love-affair with Wanksy.

On the subject of telly, it was nice to see our beloved shell toe get a mention of sorts on the 50 Greatest Hip Hop moments.

Yeah, I watched that Hip Hop show, pretty interesting. Good ol' Run DMC, but they are still to blame for americans not being able to say "adidas" correctly!

That Hip Hop ting was a joke. 50 greatest moments? Featured Wham? but no EPMD or countless other significant contributors? Fuck off. Oh and while we're at it we've now lost Kase 2, legendary NYC style king. R.I.P
