Laces from the 80's have a plastic feel to them, at least the ones I have. Tom's would work too...

Your pics make em sweet B...both sets of laces work well...a shame all 80s laces are shiite...\im not a fan of the Teal, thankfully since there's alot around the corner coming that'll eat my retirement funds...
