Hahhahaa, here's the stupid thing, he bought it in the UK and then paid £4,000 to ship it to the US where they live 6 months of the year.
Talk about coals to Newcastle.
He could have got a far better condition car and had the fun of the hunt in the US.
Numpty!

Indeed, would love to go to Arizona/CA or Georgia (no salt) and hunt down the dream car, but I'd end up coming back with more than one!

Sab, you have an excellent taste! Very tidy looking train head (don't know if you use that word of it).
Here is my dream car. Merc SLS Cabrio.

I did read somewhere that the Stig that got outed (sorry none UK Top Gear fans) Ben thingy he said that the best drivers car IHO was the Audi R8. And yes the new Merc SLS gull wing doors are very nice.
I've added these to my dream garage:
The Wedge of Cheese S1
1972 Alfa GTV 2000
1972 RS Capri 2600 (was never on sale in UK)
fc is quite fussy it has been said

Go and watch it, your in for a treat.
Incidentally I love a bit of film trivia:
The Lamborghini Miura that has an accident in the opening scenes was a real Miura P400 and was sold as new afterwards. The car that is seen tumbled by the Mafia's bulldozer was a Miura which had a serious accident and killed its driver, an Arab prince.
