I have a HD ready telly oopstairs; evil edna one doonstairs.
I don't have a chav dish on my house, so no $ky or cable.
I want to watch the WC in all it's HD glory, checked where I live and I can get BBC 1 HD/ITV1 HD/CH4 HD - so all I need is a HD box?
One for each telly?
Recommendations on best/cheapest box?
Thanks, I love you all.

I think the dog's had hold of my current pair so I be in the market for some new earphones for me iPhone. I prefer the ones that go right deep inside yer lug-hole, anyone got any good recommendations? I probably wont want to spend too much either, £40 will be about the limit, unless you can convince me otherwise.
Cheers in advance

SA's £159 from hifiheadphones.co.uk
Don't know about monsters. There is one problem with Monster's and that is those heavy duty cables that conduct rubbing noise directly to your ears. That happens if cable is a bit loose and rubs against your shirt or jacket. I don't know how to explain this better, but friend told that those SA's doesn't have that problem probably because cables are connected to ear plug with a small jack.

I've always gone with sony when it comes to headphones and never been disappointed.
Headphones can totally transform how music sounds and in my experience its worth paying out for a good pair cause you reap the benefits.
Currently got some sony inear ones (will get the model code for ya) cost about £40 and come with an ear peice set and case and seem to perform well no complaints here anyways.
(pointless spending much when ipod uk limit the fooking volume TWATS)
On the same topic if anyone see's any of the Sennheiser adidas in any of the outlets/sales for around the £150 or cheaper mark please let me know as i fancy a pair

Cheers lads. Whilst I appreciate a good quality set up at home, I only ever use earphones when I'm out on my roadbike or in the gym so audiophile sound quality isn't paramount here, I can't usually hear that much detail when I'm coughing up a lung. Think I'll check the Sony ones Pokey mentioned.
Oh, and they had some adidas/Sennheiser in Nottm Size? Pokey but I didn't see how much they were. I'll be in town again this wkend I'll take a look for you blud.

I might have to give Evil Edna a send off as I'm thinking of purchasing a flat screen telly for doonstairs.
I'm thinking 1080p Full HD, but I've seen refresh rates for 50, 100, 200 & 600hz - the higher the better I'm thinking?
I only want a 32" screen but can't see any 100hz ones for that screen size - too small? 100hz that much better than 50hz?

It's all about Ultimate Ears Shellshock, that said they made be a bit more than £40, other than that try Sony EX75/80/85/90 but be careful, fuck loads of fakes on the bay/amazon/play etc....

You're replying to a point made 6 months ago !
Pretty sure the 600hz tellies are Plasma only.
200 might still be a bit new to be solid but I'd go 100 or 200.
Fuck 50 !

What P said. 600Hz has something to do with plasma technology.
Remember that 32" flat is totally different than 32" CRT used to be. What I mean is that with old style tellies it was commonly said that you should place it three times size away (3x32"=96") from you couch etc. This is not true with flat screens though and bigger is always better. So if you can fit bigger than 32" I'd do it even if you have to watch it from only a meter away.
