Sup people, need a little help if poss, got a friend who wants me to do some of my drawings on a pair of canvas shoes with some marker pens. I've been playing about with a cheap pair of canvas pumps to see what the deal is, and I need to seal them (inside and out), and herein lies the problem... I've tried a product called "mod podge" that a few guides have reccomended, but its made the shoe seem quite stiff and I'm not sure its gonna be practical for a shoe this person intends to wear...
Any heads out there who have a solution/suggestion?
Cheers

Murder the friend before you do the shoes. Then you won't need to seal them as the coffin should keep any water away for at least 6-7 years. That's if he's buried in them of course....

I've heard that a thick coating of monkey tears makes things waterproof yet pliable.
Try that.

It might just be a case of testing acrylic finishers until you find something suitable.
That or water it down.

but ive used it on some others and it seems to keep the water off and it doesnt go on very thick so it might be worth a gander
