As I am exiting the military for civilian life, it occurred to me that I have not indulged in some of the things that my younger self took for granted.
Granted as defined by my computer's dictionary:
grant |grant|
verb [with two objs. ]
1 agree to give or allow (something requested) to : a letter granting them permission to smoke.
(Funny how the example it provides is directly related to this topic....)
In California, marijuana is legal. I have had a prescription (a letter granting permission to smoke) and a Cannabis Club Card for many years. Though I have not been able to partake in the spoils of such for the last four years, I have continued to show my support for the cause.
So, I am curious as to the laws and beliefs of people from different parts of the world. This thread should be for discussion of this. I think it should be legal. Anyone else for it?
If it ain't boots, it's soops!

Anybody who believes in good but is against Cannabis is a fucking idiot and should be nailed to the wall vid bullets from mine Luger cos surely anything "God" created is good ?
But mostly, smoke 'em if you got 'em.
Can't stand the trend for more buds and stronger in growing circles.
There used to be an emphasis on making it smoke smoother, taste nicer and smell better.
Some friends of mine grew a variety called Cream Journelle which smelled like caramel, it was de-fucking-licious !
Got totally bored with it once growing went commercial and all anyone was interested in was yields and potency.
Still love to smoke a bit of Charas every now and then but it's very infrequent.
Would love a bit of Jamaican Sest or some Sensi.

Yeah I agree with you mr.pure that the strains are getting superstrong now. Unnecessarily strong. My favorite these days Green Crack sensi.
These kicks need their own theme music.

That sounds doubley, nay, tripley strong.
As soon as they started calling varieties AK-47 I knew it had all gone wrong.
It's supposed to be a peaceful and mellow pursuit for fuck's sake.
You probably can't get it too easily anymore but my favourite smoke back then was Early Pearl.

But I dont like or agree to the use of the above. But I just ask for respect of my oppinion and what anyone else wants to get upto in their own life is fine and if thats there choice to smoke what ever go ahead. I think this thread may get contraversial so i bow out now.

Cool.
Take part Sab.
I'd like to try and talk your opinion round even though I barely smoke anymore.
I used to help someone with MS get hold of it and a couple of people with Aids.
Helped them all no end by reducing the effects of both the diseases and the drugs and building them an appetite.
Besides all that, nearly as many people smoke as drink yet what damage does drink do ?
It's only illegal cos it's fucking simple to grow and the government would raise no taxes on it !

I smoked heavily for 16 years and always thought it should be legal, and after a recent trip to Amsterdam i see no reason at all why it shouldn't be, plus its another thing the goverment can tax us on so i am suprised it isn't, then again i don't think it ever will be legal over here, people who want to smoke will smoke no matter what so they may as well just legalise it, job done.
all day i dream and shine.
