Wouldn't you expect that other people would also be a member of another forum (e.g. yourself) =p

I was going to say something about that yesterday. Not impressed. If you offered to help somewone out with them at the same price you paid plus postage and no one jumped on it, then it would have been all cool, but you didn't. Thats cold.

Samo's got a point but if drive around the island and see all the trouble searching them from different places you would probably like to get something out of that.
Gas, parking and your time. They all cost something.

I see the point that people are making and i know the ethos around the forum is not to make money out of the members..
Just as ez-1 says, it not like they've just arrived on my doorstep
I'm actively trying to get hold of some of the other pairs, but will want at the very least 120 GBP for them, which just about covers my costs and time and then there is the problem of who gets them.. so the auction idea appeared good
I'll agree with Mr Pure as well that they ain't worth 500.. although even as more a wearer of superstars than a collector i'd happily pay 200 as they are rather special!
I'll let people know if i manage to pick up other sizes on Saturday.

Just having a swift look and seems like whoever wins your ebay auction is going to be highly 'amused' when they see the included receipt of what you paid for em.

at least it proves they are real though..
I really don't get why it would be a problem for them though.. Its kinda how the world works.
Someone buys a product and sells it for more.. Its no different really to Adidas making them for less than 40 quid and selling them at 500? or any reseller selling supes at a markup?
They can also come on here and view the thread and see the amount i paid before bidding if they are that way inclined

I think it's the fact that the forum works on each of us becoming a member and helping other members out. Your fairly new on here, so that's something you might learn if you stick around.
Ollie (SSDB creator) sets a post count of 150 before buy/sell privileges for that reason.
Some members will not care a jot what your doing whereas some will be a bit hostile, ie - resellers ain't welcome on here. I've bought/sold a few pairs on here as it works both ways - IMHO soops are better in the hands of people who truly love/care for them.
Think of SSDB like a co-operative. (But we all share the divvy!)

It's funny cos its true:p Nah, DB doesn't hold his tongue or keyboard fingers, but its all cool. If it wasn't for him what on earth would you do all day P? You'd have nothing to delete!
Best of luck with the sale DJB31st, but I'm sure I'm not the only one here it doesn't sit well with...
If you say the £120 covers the shoes and your costs then cool, whatever. Most members here wouldn't dream of making a profit from their fellow SSDB heads, and would only ask for enough to break even/cover costs. If you say thats the case here, I'll take your word for it and say no more I guess...
