Yes, I like the black ones as well. The design and concept is pretty cool. I'd rock them for sure. Thanks for sharing. Where'd you find those pics? Are they a USA kick as well?

Hello!
I think a major issue of me not purchasing any recent superstars is the poor build quality, it is just gash. I think Benji has mentioned this in the past when he has taken apart a supe from 10 years ago and a recent one, the build quality is just not there anymore, which is a big shame as I used to look forward to new releases.
Case in point: has anyone saw those Adidas X HENDER efforts? They make Jeremy Scott's look a design classic!
If any one is looking to move on their collection of supes and has some in UK 10 that are from 2000 to 2010 I could well be interested.

Yeah, that certainly doesn't help either.
I refuse to wear those fucking RTs or whatever they are.
It's like they're made of tissue paper.
The Mi Adidas site is a joke as well.
The colour choices haven't changed for the best part of 3 years by my reckoning.
I don't know what noike does but I'd put money on them not leaving things to stagnate this long and they quite possibly don't remove options they just add more.
I could be totally wrong and they're in fact worse than Adi's farcical custom site.

Yeah, mi adidas is crap. I was glad when they introduced the 80s model, but like mr. P says they haven't changed the colours for years. And the colours available aren't even good unless you like pastels, silver or gold. Which I don't.
And the '45th Anniversary' or whatever we should call it was a huge letdown too. Most of the releases ended up on the sales racks, which of course was good from a buyers point of view, but it says a lot about the design too. You sure as hell didn't find any of the 35th consortiums on sale, that's for sure.
Superstars are indeed super...

You've hit the nail on the head there. Numbers didn't help though.
The releases for the 45th were barely limited even compared to the 700 UNDFTD's from 2005.
The Mi-Adidas thing is pissing me off now.
I can't be certain without actually doing some digging but I think it's been nearly 5 years with the same old pastel shit.

I concur. Mi-adidas is garbage. Boring stuff for a quite a while.

Seems someone at Adidas is still watching the forum. Within days of that post, the colours changed.
They flipped back very close to the colours that were available before the pastel shit came in.
Hopefully they'll add some more soon cos the selection is weirdly sparse for some of the materials.

The Superstar BTs look nice. Has anyone seen them IRL? I'm wondering what this "Italian leather" is like.
Also having daily dreams of the vintage shape coming back...
