well, these aren't really for me & i don't have $1000 to waste on them but it's definitively not all about the resale value, i buy my shit to wear cos i love it, fuck the resale value! and if i had that much to throw around even more so lol

I never meant it a literal as that all i meant is $1000 is to some alot of money for a pair of kicks custom or not. Offcourse alot of peeps buy stuff to wear or just store (It would take a braver man than me to wear a fresh pair of $1000 kicks knowing only 12 pairs where ever made) but if at some point they had to resell (And it happens alot) i just think these would have little value outside of the first purchase.

Ostentatious displays of wealth are kind of ing to me.
I guess that's why I hate these soops and why I refused to listen to Watch the Throne past the first few songs.

I refuse to listen to it because it's shit. Have to say I quite like the look of the Pro-Mods but could never justify spending £1000 on one pair of kicks but it's all relative, fair play to those that can. I know people who would baulk at spending £100 on a pair, they'd consider that an ostentatious display of stupidity.

Just had a look at the customizers site, kindoff hard for to me believe that this person isn't gassing themselves up 'don't believe the hype'

What are they worth then? If you like them enough? I mean the time it must take and real python!? Personally thinking that has got to be illegal lol. But expensive materials and craftsmanship must put them over 500 dollars. Imagine the kinetics were real leopard!

I have no idea what they're are worth or the value of the materials. All i'm saying is that i think there maybe an element of hype here not uncommon in the art world and where did this 500 dollar benchmark come from?

I guess he may have said he sold 12 pairs at that price, who's to know?
I figure the Python skin must be at least a $150 judging from this amount for a full metre square guide price Got to take him a couple of days and the cost of the shoes. Yadayada. $500
