Yeah that was effed up. The ONLY saving grace (for me, as I was buying for 4 others and I only had 2 other adults with me) was the 2 per customer limit. Up to that point they were saying just 1. Gonna call them when they open today to ask about the $50.
SSA: I'm sure we were in line together. I was there right at 11:00 as well. I figured SoHo was the better bet as DMC was up in Harlem at Dr. Jays when they opened at 11:00 so that's where the crowd was.

That's a cunts move by someone at Adidas.
Making a mistake is one thing but admitting you made a mistake causing people to have to trudge back to the shop is another.
Fine line between doing right and doing nothing but the whole hasn't exactly covered Adi in glory.

Just got off the phone. They said they would give me the $50 for each pair with my receipt.(that has 5 pairs on it) It was touch and go for a bit. At first they were saying that I needed a pair of shoes for each refund because people were getting refunds for shoes they had sold already. Of course that doesn't make sense because an overcharge is an overcharge no matter what you do with the shoes. Anyway, I'm going back there tomorrow and some of you will have $50 US coming back to you.

I'm hoping the resellers put the receipts in the box when they shipped them.
All those ebay peeps buying them at inflated prices based on the retail of $200. Now the reseller is gonna be rubbing his hands together as he heads down to pick up his extra $50.
Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?

Yep. I made my purchase at 11:16 am. My thoughts exactly about Dr. Jays. I knew they would be packed. I was gonna head back to the soho store when dmc was supposed to show up, but it was kinda cutting it close to my flight schedule.

If I didn't frequent the originals stores so much I wouldn't have known either. So i bought mine in soho on friday and just happen to be in miami on saturday and decided to swing in to see if they had any 86's left. I seen they had them marked at 150, had to ask questions then...
Doesnt hurt my feelings seeing resellers lose out, they have cost me plenty.
Take your eyes and your mind off all that wackness, and focus on the dopeness, yo, ’cause beyond your worries about the past and projections of the future, there is a ton of dopeness in this moment right now.

Since some of us frequent NYC, maybe we should consider a "meet up" in Manhattan someday. Preferably in the warmer months
my supes never see snow, slush, or rain.
