If people ordered a shoe based on the original picture but the new one turns up, you'd possibly be properly fucked off.

It's the retailers fault for doing pre-orders, I bet adidas has a clause about final products possibly being different to the samples. So yeah people would be pissed off and the retailers obliged to refund, I guess it's worth the risk for the sales they get.

All codes are unique, regardless of continent, and all codes are visible to each continent, just not accessible in terms of ordering i.e I can see a Japan exclusive on the system, just cant order against it.

Eventually codes get recycled but its normally years later, so theres a pretty non existant chance of confusion. Like Tom said I reckon in this case Hanon have used the original sample imagery and not the final copy.

yeah.. i got the new ss2's purple suede ones.. not sure if im keeping them.. basically for the reasons above, they look alot different to the picks on the site.. way more purple.. maybe a bit too purple
