Just copped 2 tickets for the Roses this weekend for nearly half face value off the Bay after nearly paying 3x that a couple of months ago.

No tickets, but might go purely to shift the ZXIAN's I'm trying to get rid of

My hand to God, I never heard of this band before I joined this board. In fact, if there wasn't a sneaker named after one of them I would still doubt their existance.

to be fair, you've really got to be of a certain age and from the UK to really appreciate the Stone Roses. They really did spear head a real change in music style in the late 80's.
They only had 2 albums, the second of which wasn't as good as the first and they are historically notoriously bad live!
However, it's probably more a case of been able to re-live your youth again that makes their reformation special.

I don't go till tomorrow but I've heard from various sources the gig was very good. Apparently IB reigned in his cocky swagger for once and made a bit of an effort!
