I have that problem a lot. I was talking about the massive orange indicators on the side of the car. Anyway, you can ignore my post as I was talkin out my arse. The side repeaters are off an American Golf and not a European model as I stated earlier. But I still think they look gash.

SS, I just don't like VW because of the simple fact that their designs are boring. There is nothing exciting about any VW released. Well maybe the Scirocco but that has no typical VW design. It could have been Italian. The other reason I don't like VW is that about 50% of Holland drives one.
I like those old buses though.

Ahh, you're one of those drivers I do agree to a certain extent Rob that VW, like most other European car manufactu...manufacto...makers VW have been playing it rather safe in the design area these last few years but VW have never been about trendy over-styling, they tend to concentrate on build quality. I challenge you to drive any of the following cars and then come back on here and tell me they're boring (from a driver's point of view)
Any MK1 Scirroco
Any Corrado
MK2 G60
Mk2 Golf Rallye,
Mk2 16v GTi
Mk3 VR6
Mk4 R32
MK5 Gti or R32
Mk6 R
Plus, the older models are from the late 70's & early 80's and are all still regularly seen on roads. How similar models of Italian or French cars of the same age do you ever see? That's right, none. That's because they've all fallen to bits a long time ago.
