I can totally understand that Grimmy.

I just like Matching the laces to the stripe colour.
I also lurve fatties and am a sucker for all lace jewels! (anybody got any hanging around they don't use?)
So as you can tell (probably already knew )
I really have no taste.

Yeah i knew about your love for 'em lace jewels. I don't like them except for a few here and there. I have loads of original jewels hanging around. I think most of the smaller jewels don't fit with fattie laces at all, look strange.

as above, if yer jeans and tshirt are dark it tames the brightness of the orange

im sorry guys but that is complete crap...wearing dark clothes with bright shoes makes them stand out more...basic rules of contrast lol

but i just think the brighter colours go better with dark because of that contrast..

its not complete crap, if the rest of your outfit is not bright then the over all look will be more subdued, them orange's are never gonna fade into the background but if the rest of ya clothes are darker you wont end up looking like some stupid nu rave idiot

I'm with you Shellshock. Reckon a matching T & dark denim works a treat. Although i did pass on the oranges for the same reason as Cracky, I just don't reckon i could rock em convincingly.
Passed on the purples too but Big Molly rocks his with a purple Adidas T and it looks proper.

pukka mate, i totally agree with you on the fact they look WAY better with darker denims... im with you on that... but i think darker clothes with bright shoes brings attention to ur shoes, which in most of our cases is a good thing...

IMO..wearing lighter colours takes the focus away from your BRIGHT supes...

i think a study is in order

Orange Schuh's for me today. Have kept the default laces on until i find better matching fatter ones.. have tried several different orange laces but they've all been either of too yellow or too red shade to please my eye.
