had to revert ot the default theme so we've lost all the niceness..

im currently restoring former glory

guys for some reason its turned all the default settings off in the user cp..

things like viewing signatures, and the quick reply box at the bottom of the threads

you can edit them here - i tried to find a way of turning them all on globally but i couldnt

ive had to delete a load of calendar entries too.. there were a few i left that were real but the rest was spam

i had to rebuild and recount the posts..

so if anyone has had loads of posts deleted/pruned then it will of re-counted and recalibrated or some shit

So when we delete things in here, doesn't that update the post counts ?
Or have you deleted something huge like an old day to day thread ?

I just deleted 101 threads !



Gonna keep doing a tidy up of non essential, outdated, or plain uninteresting threads as the weeks go by.
Hopefully before you do the final twiddling of knobs.

I need some mod help! All my CP settings were reset with the change over and now when I try to set them how I like it never saves the changes. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug that will eventually be fixed?!

It should work.
You're clicking on Edit Options and then after making the changes, "Update details" or whatever the button says ?

Yes sir. It acts like it saves them but as soon as I get back to the main page it reverts back. Do I need to clear my browser cache or something?

Possible but I didn't.
I did just try a view changes and they seemed to work for me.
Delete 'em and start again.

Yeah I got it olly! I cleared my cache and it started working right. I dont know why it worked but im happy it did!

Mods - I've not had any of the afore mentioned issues since the re-jig, but I'm now having issues with sending PM's (as in they dont appear in the sent folder so I dont really know if there sending) I'm receiving them ok.
