Yeah I used to cycle everyday, last couple of years. But you have to do a lot of mileage to get the same benefit, unless you are constantly hill climbing. When my little one is a bit bigger I'll start again. He is too big for the trailer but too small to cycle.
So.. Go on, spill it.. what you been doing?

Lately I've been learning some new skills such as brushing my teeth, ironing, dressing myself and eating with cutlery. I could do most of those things pretty well previously but since breaking two bones in my right hand and having a cast fitted I've had to do all these things with my left hand. And walking. As I can't hold the steering wheel in my car or handle bar of my bike I have to walk everywhere for 4 weeks.

Not quite. Attempted some bank-holiday DIY and knocked a 5L tin of paint off the top of the step-ladder onto my hand which was flat on the floor beneath the ladder. Hand looked like something from a road-runner cartoon.

Eeek, breaking your dominant hand is rough. My only bone break ever was a spiral fracture of a bone in my left hand while up in the attic trying to strengthen an electrical box with a 2x4 to mount a ceiling fan. Stumbled on a support for the ductwork and POW used my hand to support my fall and broke it. I'm right handed, so it wasn't that big of an inconvenience. I feel for you.
Been admiring my FIFA Womens World Cup tickets that arrived the other day Going to catch three matches in Vancouver, Canada including the USA women in their 3rd match of Group Play and a match with defending world champion Japan. It's around a 16 hour drive and 1,000 miles, so not looking forward to that part of the 14 day vacation. Travelling with my two adult children will be nice since they can take shifts at the steering wheel. On the flip side, the 16 hour drive will allow us to see parts of the Great Northwest of the USA that we have yet to visit. If anyone lives up that way...Seattle, Olympia, Vancouver BC...let me know. Maybe we can hook up or you can point me to some good sneaker shops.

Just been sorting out my self-employment insurance.
As some of you know, I used to design and deliver Music Technology courses and workshops in all manner of settings. A lot in Young Offender's Prison. I also taught Art and Design there too. Kinda how I started painting shoes..
Anyway, I am going to be offering custom workshops (shoes, apparel and media stuff - may lay off the hip flasks) and need to start spreading the word. So if you know anyone, whether in schools or in the community as a whole, that might be interested, then please pass on my email.. creativeprojects@benjiblunt.com
Appreciated.
