Ok....so the only reason I did this is I have two pairs, I actually like the aged sole
Disclaimer....I have NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING or about the long term effect on the suede, it might lose colour or rot in a few weeks you will have to treat this post as a board middle aged man rummaging around in his wife's make up draw looking for something to do!
I ran out of the boots nail polish remover with the first shoe so I had to go into town (the boots stuff was probably 3x more affective than the co-op's) first shoe took about 15 mins the second one I have given up on until I can get more of the boots stuff.
1.Cleaned the area with Jason Marxx.
2.Dyed it with a hand towel.
3.Loaded up the ear bud with the varnish remover.
4.Tested the suede in a discreet area.
5.Applied it to the painted sole.
6.Rubbed with the hand towel - repeated steps 5 and 6 until area clear.
7.Cleaned again with Jason Marxx (other detergents are available).
8.Patted dry with the towel.
May need to get a toothbrush involved for a perfect finish.
Peace!

Nice one Dave!
Two pairs! My God ! He's a shoe buying machine!
How many campus have you got now?
Those black/red look good after your treatment but I like the aged sole on the cardinal ones.

Second pair only cost about £40 from CT's in the sale with a discount code.
Bout 15 pairs.
I agree mate, will be the last time I'll do this.

I'm sure there's worse things that middle aged men get up to with their wife's make-up on gloomy Sundays.

Amazing dedication to a very WORTHWHILE cause mate. IMO only one thing worse than a faked yellow sole on an adidas and that is one on a Noike. Each to their own though.
Was the nail varnish remover acetone free? It doesn't sound like it had acetone in it. though you probably don't need to clean it if it does or it doesn't as that stuff will take anything off.
You could try alcohol to remove it, might be less worrying if you get it on the upper. Or Mr P's legendary Dremel tip.

I don't mind the vintage sole- some do look a bit shite granted, but I've found that a bit of a wipe over with a soapy cloth/baby wipe blends it a bit better. Those are some nice campus btw D (vintage or de-vintaged).

Yes mate it's acetone free, all done and I'm really pleased with the results, shame the supplied laces are a bit naff but I do know a man
