Dunno why i'm bothering after 1000 Pm's back and forth i've already done more damage to his English than can be repaired
Pokey may well have fucked his English, grammar and spelling skills right up..but i've donated some nice superstars as compensation <clear conscience>

Thanks to all of you.
Trying to get a job in the northeastern part of Germany (where I'm originally from). Both interviews went well. I'm not the perfect candidate for both jobs but it's hard to find good trained personnel for the companies in that region. So I think I have a good chance to get at least one of these jobs Not a woohoo atm but I'm well chuffed

Good luck Fritze!
As for myself, been doing basically nothing but work over the past month and then some.. thanks for layoffs in my department just before Christmas giving me 3x more work to do. Just great. Don't mind the work really but having some spare time every now and then would be cool... so I could hang around here more often.

Doing nothing is very hard to do... you never know when you're finished.

Good luck Fritze! Speaking from an HR perspective, don't sweat about the perfect candidate comparisons - if its a good company with good personnel, they'll choose the right 'fit' over the technically more suitable - hard skills are easier to learn - soft skills aren't...then again if your make up contains both, you've no worries and its in the bag

Sweet! I do miss growing our own veg. Lettuce seems to be the easiest thing to grow, along with herbs. Good luck.

Dr Green Thumb Just make sure they're all legal
I've been travelling around Europe - once again. From Frankfurt I took train to Baden-Baden where I saw a lot of grannies and wrinkled old men. Also some stunning russian trophy wife's butt naked in roman bath (I know it's rude to stare and I tried not to).
From there to Alsace to fill my wine "cellar". The whole region seems to be closed at this time of year so I decided to go to Luxemburg. Never been there before so spent two nights in Lux City. And now I'm in Köln/Cologne. It's nice to travel around seeing new places but would be better to do it with someone. My GF/fiancée had to work so I've been travelling alone.
