My nephew's got that for Chrimbo present and had to take it for test run for a week or so. Totally loved it and I think it's as close to DJing I'll ever reach

I mentioned before I took a drive in an Audi R8 V8. Well today my brother picked me up for another ride. We drove for one mile and were about to go onto the highway. My brother did a kickdown, the R8 accelerated. Then suddenly a lot of noice. I yelled: get off the road. I looked behind me and a lot of flames and smoke came out of the back. We stopped and quickly got out of the car. The fire stopped fortunately. A lot of oil leaked from the car. The engine is probably ruined but I'm glad to be alive and that the car didn't burn down. We are still waiting for a replacement car. It may take a while. What an adventure....

My supes are fine thank god. The Audi is not so good I hope this all will be covered by insuranca. Also the police, 2 firetrucks, the ANWB (for road help), Rijkswaterstaat (which own the highways) and the truck on which the R8 had to be loaded.

@Rob: That sounded pretty scary, glad you got out ok. You better not choose a Lambo instead of the R8 either.. as it's owned by Audi AG of the VW Group. Not that the last Murcielago model, LP 670-4 SV isn't nice but still if you want to avoid any links to German manufacturers...

@Lor: Yeah bats are interesting. I had a couple small bats sleeping in the attic of my summer house some years back but not seen any for quite some time. Unfortunately they weren't vampire bats sucking my blood while I sleep.

Been quite a drunken Monday, few pints of Fruli in the local, a tea of wasabi peas and chilli cashews, then into town to see a band my mate recommended called Blood Red Shoes. Fucking excellent, and I'd rattle the fuck out the singer too. Fucking gorgeous.
