Easiest way would be privatise everything, buy off the country's debt with the money, disband government. Problem solved.
Ok, it is kinda unlikely the government would volountarily give up even a tiny bit of their powers they worked so hard to achieve, so an alternative would be to let capitalism actually work and let the free market regulate itself. If a company is going bust, let them. Supporting them just means bigger problems in the long run. Insurance covers losses in banks so let it cover losses in banks. Constant bailing out of failing businesses just means they fail for longer and drain even more resources and time.
Seriously, how many companies that have been bailed out in the past have made any sort of recovery to a stage where they are making a steady (even if small) profit. Car manufacturers especially come to mind...

The banks should've been taken over properly and run to serve the people who put in the money to buy them.
For too long they've been run to swell the already stuffed wallets of the rich.
Privatisation doesn't work Reid.
Maggie tried it, now our railways are a joke. Gas, electricity and water services are fucking expensive and run for profit where they should be a right provided by the state at cost.
And establishments like prisons, hospitals and schools should never be in the hands of private organisations unless set up solely for that purpose from the start.
Abolishing the utterly ridiculous health and safety executive would go a long way to getting this country back on it's feet.
It's a huge waste of money on a governmental level and ties businesses in so much red tape it strangles their productivity.
And relax !

Tell Me Why I Don't Like Mondays!
So far I've had me boiler conk out (550 notes for a new one) dog was quite ill (okay now) so £75 for that and the front panel of the dishwasher has come off.
I've had better days. At this rate the Underworlds might have to be sold.
