KOFT - That sucks unless i ever actually get the chance to visit harputs chances of me picking any of them deadstock gems up is pretty much 0% (countless mails never brought me any joy when asking what they got in them sizes)
My 1st day outta bed since xmas day santa brought me manflu and socks for xmas so ain't been well enough to hit the sales or enjoy all the festive belly busting food
Hope every1 had a better time than me and feel free to let me know what xmas dinner actually tasted like this yr

^ sorry to hear that poke. my xmas dinner was very tasty and i have eaten far too much!
Xmas was good, got lots of socks, a tie, several pint glasses of varying shape and branding, lots of sweets (which puzzles me every year as my family know i dont really like sweets!) and a few DVDs, I spent the afternoon in a food/drink coma, and woke up just in time for dinner!
Yesterday i was working my part time job and today im back in the office, with a massive headache and I am bored sensless!
I want to be back at home!
On a side note, a nice pair of rod lavers t urned up this morning at stupid o clock! (pics later when i get home)

Aric, Sorry for the late reply, probably too late to help but I didn't really see any superstars in that size. Some Adicolors and otehr stuff stuff.
Poke, I hope you're feeling better. Tough time of the year to get the flu. After being in Harputs you can really see the issue with them not being able to see what they have in which sizes. The stock is not organized like any traditional shoe store. There are racks of stuff in the back with random shoes in a size range, and then there is more in the back. I didn't get a chance to go in the back to look around because I got there 10 minutes before closing. Bootsy was cool with lookers going through the back and checking things out, just no time for me though.
Harputs Store Front:
My Ugly mug in front of the Rare stuff.... My genius son took the picture from the wrong angle and the ONE pair of Superstars in the window is blocked by me as a result. I told the kid to make sure they are in the photo too.

Nice Farmer-- I'd really like to make a trip there. It's a shame you weren't able to check the stuff in the back. Is everything there pretty much for sale or is most of it just for looks only?

No worries at all fella, it's always going to happen now and then and I'm pleased someone on here got them.
The exchange rate and shipping costs were always going to limit my bid.

I'm hoping to go to Canada next year for a snowboarding holiday.
Not sure where as yet but I'm only going cos it's pretty much guaranteed snow.

well, I'd fly to Calgary and head into the interior of BC. You're going to want to avoid Vancouver next winter with the Olympics and all.

Good point. I'll have to check all the dates.
Was thinking about Banff or Whistler.
Any insider knowledge would be gratefully received.
