Lorre, these yellow Lico's are really nice from what I see. Was taking a look around but all Lico's I found look like garbage. Must be from a "Lico is making fucking nice shoes" decade.

Cheers Fritze, yeah i've had a look and i agree the genera; Lico stuff is pants My thinking for the model i have Federal Republic of Germany FDR (This is on the tongue) is just the long form name for West Germany. I'm curious how many German products would still use that labeling after the unification. So maybe datewise these could be late 80s? ,

Yeah ... you're right. It was FRG and GDR. I only remember that from some sport events on television in the 80s and never heard that after the unification. So at a guess they're from the 80s. Maybe early 90s but I think more 80s
Btw, the Lico-sign looks a bit like the adidas trefoil in block design.

So ... I was looking around a little bit and found some shoes very similar to yours Errol. Colours are different but the stripes and the leather for the eyelets (hope you know what I mean) are looking like yours.

It is stated they're from the GDR from ca. 1980. The GDR has produced lots of stuff for West Germany because they needed foreign currency to buy things on the world market. The East German "Mark" was practically worthless outside East Germany.
Could be that your shoes has been produced in the GDR for Lico. Then they're really from the 80s Otherwise if Lico has taken the design of a GDR shoe after the unification, they're probably post-80s.
