Haven't got the biggest collection but I keep em in the drawers under my bed. I make sure to always put the box bkac in the same spot and just "know" where they are. Normally put the standard boxes between the slightly different ones (35ths or skates or consortiums) to further lock where they are in my head.

But hoping to sort out some shelvin, storage after xmas
It's not the size of the feet!!it's the amount of quality on em

The ones I keep in boxes are all piled up, so I've written on the boxes what's in them, like 'Run DMCs' or 'black snake vins' or stuff like that. The rest are on a shoeshelf and easy to find.
Would be nice if each pair of Supes came with a sticker showing the model so you could put it on the box or, even better, simply a pic of the shoe printed on the box itself. It would make things a lot easier, for shops too I guess.

Good question mate. I was late for work on Friday because I was looking for my Blue Note promods and I couldn't find the bloody box. I went through most of them twice before finding them!
Some of them I can tell what they are from the colour and style description on the end of the box, but some I have to open up to see what they are.
The easiest ones to find are my anniversaries, because I wrote the shoe number on the box, so all I have to do is just pick out one box and check the legend on the bottom.
My long term plan is to take a profile shot of each shoe, print out a small copy and stick it on the end of the boxes. Until then, I have to rely on the above!

I'm liking the filing systems! afraid mines not quite as sophisticated, in boxes in a cupboard, and i tend to pick one out and then match the oufit to them. occasionally i have a powerful pull towards a particular pair and i do have to hunt around and get the cupboard out! i always meant to invest in those clear plastic boxes you can get, but they're pricey, and i wouldnt know what to do with my boxes...(no way will i throw them)
