If I recall, thems 'sppposed to rip yer heels to shreds - maybe why I've been so cautious in grabbin them - I like my feet in one stumpy piece...

Yep, LQ's are a bit rough on the achilles... The heel tabs are a pretty firm plastic. Well worth it though KT. Not for every day wearing but I love mine and are never afraid to break them out.
