Hi everyone, I bought this pair of Lee Quinones 35th's ages ago, and have never worn them, so decided to stick them on eBay as I'm particularly skint atm...

So, a guy emails asking for more pics of the shoes, I take about a dozen and email them onto him...

He replies saying he thinks they're fakes, I don't really know what to say to him; as I'm no expert on spotting fakes. As far as I know they are genuine, they seem of high quality, and are similiar in build quality to the other (I know for fact) genuines I own.

So if you guys don't mind could you use your expertise and tell me if they are real/fake, and why.

Hiya, I don't have another pair of this exact model, and I think as these shoes are quite unlike most 35th's (material etc) I wasn't sure it'd be worth getting into?

:s sorry, I didn't see any rules, but I'll remember to look harder next time. After a quick Google search this forum seemed like a pretty good place to ask. I did have a look at the spotting fakes bit before posting, and as I said the serials are different, and I can't see any heel tip thing...

Anyway, the (missing) introduction:

I'm Dave, and I'm from Poole in the UK, I went through a short burst of collecting Adidas trainers, but atm my money is tiiiighghhhhtttttt, and bills are on the ^ so I decided I might as well flog the pair I don't wear (see above)...

I am well into D'n'B and now some Dub Step (after a messy, messy night @ Fabric), I used to mix and produce, but now I'm too busy, and I guess lazy (and probably skint!). I work in the media in my company shooting and selling stock images to papers and magazines...

Cool, (you clearly hear the wrong D&B btw) Try this If you dont like that, then there is unfortunately not much I can offer you, or maybe, this

Also, on a bum note, I have discovered my shoes are infact fake, check my post here, hopefully it'll be useful to people

Lol, who ever would have thought all this could hapen from me putting my shoes on ebay. I also just figured out my adicolor staten islands are bloody fake too - they have the heel tip big time !!!!

Atleast I can wear my 'prized' shoes now hahahaha

EDIT: also oddly, as it turns out, the guy that emailed me, is a member on here ROFL

yeah they are def fake, sorry to see that you got taken for a ride. you can tell just from your original pics alone. the weak stitching on the stripes, the not so clear base are dead giveaways. anyways good luck with authentic stuff in the future and stay away from the bay for 35th's. it's getting harder and harder to differentiate the fakes.
