Quick update!! paypal told me to send the item bk for a full refund!! so i rang the twats and explained that the item was deffo counterfeit/fake and that why should i be penalised and lose money posting the item bk costing me postage only for the seller to then sell this fake item to someone else!! (stated all that for them to read b4)
Anyways there changing the case and will be back intouch when they will need proof the item is fake from me!!
Hopefully pointing them here will be good enough to convince them
p.s Not heard from the seller

I would be livid if I recieved a fake pair of kicks. Then dude has the nerve to threaten you? Wow.
What I hate about the whole system is that once you enter a dispute all your business is out there and the arsehole knows where you live.
Most times such things are idle threats and nothing comes of them, but it'd be wise to keep an eye out.
I would be amazed if paypal sort you out. I've had run-ins with them before and they are an absolute shambles of a company. The faceless bastards owe my GF £500 from over 1 1/2 years ago!
Good luck with it all anyway.

Paypal seem to suck for a lot of people (a friend of mine who lived off his art got thousands of pounds suspended by them whilst they "investigated" his account so he had to live off practically nothing for 6 months) but my personal experiences are ok with them. Whenever I've had fakes I always got my money back around 28 days after I file the complaint

************ update******
Just got this
In order to continue with the investigation of your complaint, we must
request documentation to support your claim that the item is not authentic.
Please obtain a document from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer,
appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the
area of the item in question (other than yourself), which clearly
identifies the item as not authentic. If possible, the document should
include a serial number and description of the item, and must be on
letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the
individual, business, or organization so that PayPal may contact them if
necessary.
The documents should be faxed to PayPal at 08707 303 196. Please include a
cover sheet with your fax that includes the email address registered on
your PayPal account and the ID number of your claim PP-498-458-566, so we
may attach the documents to your claim as quickly as possible.
We must receive your fax within 10 days from the date of this message in
order to proceed with the investigation of your claim. If we do not receive
your fax within 10 days, your claim will be cancelled. We are unable to
grant extensions to this time period. Please note that PayPal is unable to
reimburse you for any costs or fees that may be incurred in obtaining the
requested documents. Any documents you provide may also be supplied to the
seller in your dispute if necessary.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience. We regret any inconvenience
this request may cause.
As any1 had to do this themselves?? And do you think a fax pointing them to this website and this thread and the fake sellers list will be enough??
