I've taken a liking to these shoes all of a sudden, but it's hard to tell what they really look like just from the adidas site. So, I have some questions for any people who have seen the Vulcanized Gonzales's up close or own them.
My Number One Concern :
-Are they kind of wide/fat? Or higher topped then other Superstars? They just look different...I'm not really into the overbulky skate-type shoes at the moment, so yeah that's a concern for me. They look pretty top heavy from the pictures on the adidas site, and they are skate shoes, so one would expect that to an extent. What about compared to other Superstars? Other then that I think they're pretty sick, I think it's partly because they're vulcanized so it kind of changes the shape of the shoe, I dunno. A chuck-taylor superstar cross sounds nice, but some pictures I've seen of the shoe look a bit bulky.
Other Concerns:
-Is the sizing consistent with other superstars? Or other shoes in general?
-Are new colorways being released? The current one is nice, but I could definitely come up with a better one.
-And finally, if anybody has any pictures of them, could they post them? It'd be refreshing to see the shoes from different angles then just then adidas site angles, maybe even pictures of the shoes being worn?

Thanks.
EDIT//
There's some inconsistencies online in terms of how good the shoe looks (at least in my opinion) and even a major blunder on the official adidas website.
Here's what popped up on most shoe-hype sites after searching for a while about the Gonz's, which people found out about in early May, roughly a short month ago.
Now I dunno about you guys, but that looks distinctly less appealing to me then whats shown on the Gonz flash site on adidas and also the link
on the official website. Most noticably, the sole seems to have less texture and looks sloppy, like a giant rubber lump, the shoe looks a lot fatter and more generic skate-like, and the vulcanized shell-toe is noticeably lower and less protruding. Overall, imo, it makes the shoe extremely borderline to me. It could possibly be the angle, I dunno, but I really dislike that picture, even if it is the angle. I want my shoes to look good all around
And another issue - on the adidas official product page, when you click zoom, a slightly different shoe pops up. The back of the shoe has a vans-esque "The Gonz" stamp on it and "Mark Gonzales" is scribbled on one of the red stripes. Not a major issue here, but I don't really like the vans-esque stamp that much, and if given a choice I'd do away with the sig. Also on the Gonz flash site where the shoe does look very good, theres his sig on one of the stripes. It's not like that on the official adidas product page. Some consistency, please adidas!
Anyways, yeah, those are my nitpickings. Thanks for any help!
If anybody owns this shoe help mee!
