Damn it, I missed all the fun!
What an arsehole. But he's all maxxed up with Bax*, so he's happy with his life.
*Arnold Bax - an English composer and poet. His musical style blended elements of Romanticism and Impressionism, always with a strong Celtic influence. His orchestral scores are noted for their complexity and colourful instrumentation. Bax’s poetry and stories, which he wrote under the pseudonym of Dermot O’Byrne, reflect his profound affinity with Irish poet William Butler Yeats and are largely written in the tradition of the Irish Literary Revival.
Maybe that isn't the Bax he was talking about.

No, I reckon that's exactly where he's coming from.
A literary genius stumbled in here and found us talking about trainers and decided we were insular, lacking social interaction and possibly suffering from Aspergers !
Unfortunately, he didn't realise that just mine and Deftoneds IQ's nearly total 300 so I think he's misdiagnosed.

I like the fact that the only bit of info he's put on his profile is the number of trainers he owns.

With a total lack of social interaction skills, as demonstrated 100% of his total posts on here, he is more likely to be suffering, and his misdiagnoses of us fine people on here, with an eye for style, is transference, caused by the denial his own situation?

Excellent diagnosis there Def.
I reckon you've hit the nail on the friggin' head.
He can probably count all his friends on one hand.
They'd be the milkman, the postman, the kebab shop owner, the pizza guy and his councillor !

Interestingly, the same people are also candidates for the title of Bax2demax's father.
Either that or he's Austrian & only just been released from Grandad's / Dad's cellar!!
Hence only a short sentence, can you imagine typing with webbed fingers!!
Oh & his entire sneaker collection is up for sale too, should be good condition as they've only been worn indoors!

I don't understand this thread. Who actually said there was anything wrong with Aspergers??? An obsession with something like shoes is quite normal as long as you recognise that not everyone is going to feel the same about your interest. People with Aspergers often can't, which usually means they have a bit of trouble functioning on a social level. However, there are plenty of people with Apsergers who have very high IQ's, have been incredibly successful, and are responsible for major achievements in Science, Mathematics, Art, and Medicine because they were so obsessive. Apparently Spielberg has Aspergers and he's done okay.
