I bought a pair of superstars and the right heel started squeeking after 6 months of reasonable use.. just walking from to and from the train station to work... So i Binned em.
and bought myself another pair of superstars of course.
now after 3 months use.. its dam right heel has started squeeking again.. now its probably partly down to how i walk or somthing, cos obviously superstars have no known faults.. but has anyone ever come across this before and got a fix for it?
(im not a fat kid neither if you're wondering)

?
If it's definitely in the heel then lacings got nish to do with it.
It's most likely completely down to how you walk.
It's happened on one of my pairs, no solution I can see.

People said this about the CT Lo's last year.
Put a strip of sellotape over the underside of the lace holes and see if that stops it.
I reckon it will be a punctured heel though.

I've found that certain pairs of SS1s with the thin foam-type tongue always squeak with me. I squeak in my PPs, Goofys, Warhols, CTs, you name it. Good think I don't do much walking really!

Talc sounds like a great idea, nice one.
Failing that, tape over the back of the holes is a proven solution.

Bummer -- maybe you got a bad batch or something. I had a pair of Adidas T-Mac 2's that squeaked like a mother. Pissed me off so much I can hardly look at them anymore. I think mine had something to do with glue in the sole coming lose...do you walk in water a lot or did your shoes get soaking wet ever? Maybe that would have something to do with it.
