Just occurred to me that I hadn't mentioned it since finding out a couple of weeks ago.

Here´s mine:
Thanks for all the help Mr. Pure!
I´m quite satisfied, although the lacestay was supposed to be light onyx suede as well. The embroidery is also too big and too close to the stripe I think..
But overall very satisfied!

Woah, was it ?
Sounds like you could have a second pair coming to you then.
You might have to send 'em back or at least do some nifty emailling but other people have had another pair made for them if the order gets screwed.

No, they cannot accept returns, except for manufacturing defects as they are 1 of 1. The order was sent before I could fix the mistakes (their computer has a stupid default thingy after you go back and fix things, I didn´t notice until it was too late), but I figured they look good none the less..
Been mailing a bit with the store, but there´s nothing they can do..
Second pair in the pipeline soon, hehe..

I like those. Pretty much what i'd probably made for myself. Shame for the little mistakes but looking good nevertheless.

Yeah, let's blame that.
I didn't even bother to read Pokey's post before I started my waffle.
You could remove the coating of the lace stay with a burr of some kind.
I did the same to a pair and you wouldn't know they hadn't started life as nubuck.

Really? Sounds very interesting.. How do you do that?
If it´s too much of a hassle, I´ll prob just make a new pair..
*edit*
What´s a burr?

Raymond Burr?
Maybe watching episodes of Ironside or Perry Mason will help you solve this problem.
For real tho, isn't a burr some sort of abrasive scrub thingy?
