Out of respect for the forum and keeping things in there rightful place, thought I would move this out of 'Soops I'm Wearing Today' (paraphrasing), into its own thread.
Obviously, as you can see from this pic, I lace my kicks conventionally (alright, this is an especially crap job) and I tie a bow at the top. It worked for me when I was 5 and it works for me 30 years later.
But, to be honest, I wouldn't mind trying something new. Especially with this pair. So advice? I like the 'parallel' lace look, but don't know how to do it properly.
And what do you do with the lace ends? Tucking them into the shoes seems kinda uncomfortable.

Zwer man, you are f*cking funny! I can't believe you actually created a new thread with that title!
As for lacing, I always tie the ends together under the tongue, that way it stops them coming loose, but it also stops the tongue from doing that annoying thing where it trys to escape down one side of the shoe until it eventually gets stuck like that!

No, don't ever have that happen. If they are left loose enough to slip on and off without stretching them, then they should be ok.
If you have any of the SS Skateboarding ones, the sock liner comes out so you can just run the excess lace under that.
Just trial and error mate, but in the end it's whats comfortable for you, and to hell with what anyone else thinks!

Is that offer still standing of the Superstar Skates on adidas.ca?
What would I need to do, just send you the cash + shipping (customs charges?) to you via paypal? PM me to discuss.
I don't get the lacing thing either if that helps.

I've been known to use the "ladder" style from time to time, but i've always found that it works better with fatter laces, like in Kings picture above. That way you don't see all the business behind.
But still, it's all your call man!

Dude, I am passing no judgement at all on your kicks. Lace as you will!
But from an astethic point of view, this style looks much better with fatties!
