The 80s are an interesting demon...the light blue doesn't really match too well, but neither does the royal blue..

Frustrating to say the least. I think I am just going to stick some white fatties on them. Do you have any suggestions?

The light blues are too loight for them? That's a shame. That;s the only reason I bought them.

What about throwing some Royal blue laces in the wash a couple times to try and fade them out a bit? I have to believe the dye used in laces isn't exactly the best.

My son wears these lace-up ankles braces for volleyball. Every couple weeks I have to wash them because they start to smell like ass. I throw the braces in the washing machine but I wash laces in a jar with warm water and add in laundry detergent to clean them. Once I ring them out and hang dry them, the water left in the jar is a very dark grey from the dye bleed and the laces are now faded as all hell. Might work with color laces too.

Hmm, yea that is a good idea. The light blue match on certain parts of the snake skin, but it looks a little off because the main snake skin (that deep blue-ish color) is way more prominent. I'm going to try the wash idea though when I have more time, it's the only reason why I bought the royal blue laces
