...like the shoes i bought off ebay  Run-DMCs are amongst the shoes targeted the most (out of the 35th Music series Superstars) for replication by the scam-factories of the third world.

Please bear with me - I'm new, I have a lot to say and I've spent a lot of my time on this and not much else (I might need a life?)...
1) The seller has no buyer feedback whatsoever.
2) They haven't stated they are real.
These are just commonsense rules of eBay.
3) They look just like the fake ones i've bought.
Also, the shoes have a "squashed" look (maybe from having been mass-shipped?), a thing which quality Superstar material isn't well known for (correct me if I'm wrong). The seller hasn't really taken care of these kicks (why have they taken the laces out of the packets?), another indication something is off.
The seller I bought from made his ebay feedback private the second he received a negative from another buyer (he had built up 100% positive feedback thru smaller sales and real non-rare shoes). I'd been able to read the comment just before it disappeared - It had stated that the rare Captain Tsubasa's they'd purchased were fake.
When the shoes arrived, I compared them to the previous two 35ths I had purchased (Roc-A-Fella and Etched Black) and the difference in the quality of material was evident. I had PayPal refund the full amount, which the seller cheerfully obliged with little protest (just an e-mail asking why I was unhappy, to which a flamed him for selling fakes - I didn't hear from him again). The fact of the matter was the manufacturers had faked everything (the box images had been photocopied, the tags looked real - maybe taken from real kicks?) right down to the "tissue paper" inlay, which looked real except when placed next to a real inlay.
Before my complaint and the negative feedback, he stated all his kicks from 100% authentic. This is conspicuously missing from all his new listings (almost all buy it now).
Sorry for the long post - I am typing all this shiat in the hope that someone doesn't make the same mistake I did and almost lose 140 GBP in a single transaction. I'll post some of my own pics when I can borrow my sister's digital camera. Until then, keep frosty people. Dre out.
