Might be an idea to check out the Originals Store on Wooster.

Arse! Another shop I missed out on. I was in Boston, NYC and Toronto for the honeymoon last Sept, landed back on the 15th, discovered this place on the 19th!
Damn my timings!

Hey I'll be in NYC in a few days as well!!! We do have a lot of good stores in southern California, but I'm sure that NYC will be a whole different experience.

Wrote this on previous NYC thread:
Was there last week, the Adidas Originals shop on Wooster Street is good, has a massive shutter that opens the whole store onto the street, Stussy shop is right next door. Lots of decent shopping in that area. Wooster St. / Spring St. / Lafeyette St. Missed Union as due to jetlag / fcuked up body clock was mooching around at 7.30am and was closed.
Checked on loads of Footlockers / Journeys etc but to be honest nothing really took my fancy, the nicest Sup's i saw were some split coloured offerings in the Originals shop for $90 I was Umming and Arring and didnt bother in the end. Luckily when I went into the Originals shop on Melrose Ave in L.A. they had 30% off the same ones. Wow that is a cool Originals shop, with a Missy Elliot lookalikee DJ spinning beats, Adidas BMX's and a great selcetion of clothing and pumps.
