Is it just me or why are there so many fakes?I mean I can understand the shit like consortium, adicolor but why just regular soop's too.

I mean here in the states bapesta's are fake and sold everywhere-even in gas stations but you never see fake soop's.I guess since soop's are in so many retailers that it is not worth it.I brought a pair of the adicolors white century's w/all the colored laces to a clothing exchange store and the clerk went apeshit about they were real and the box...(I took all the laces for myself!) but believe it or not I had them forever but could not figure what to do with em'(custom).

The dude at the store bought them and he was like a 10us and I wear a 14us!!!I sell them all my kicks that I am tired of or if I see someone wearing them which does not happen that much since I wear mostly limited's or stuff that you haver to look deep for and most cat's are followers no individual style and will not be different in my town...AIR---bullshit i don't give a fuck how much they cost it is a gas!

surely if you paid via pay pal your money is protected , so send em back signed for make sure you keep the slip and then contact paypal with all the information and also contact ebay telling them that hes selling fakes on there , if he has too much bad feedback eventually they will shut his account down and he will have to start again with zero feedback , pay pal is pretty good at keeping the buyer happy as i have had previous experience with paypal being a seller and had stuff sent back that was either broken or they found some reason they didnt want it and the mponey was taken out of my pay pal account i couldnt do anythin about it ,

I'm hoping this isn't a daft question and that I'm not going to make myself sound a bit silly asking it......but how/why do ebay sellers and even 'bona fide' online retailers get away with advertising 100% genuine goods but selling rip-offs?

Because 99.9% of the time they never even see the kicks they sell, they dropship from china. so the average dude on the street sees these as a way in to the collection thing and thinks 24 quid for dasslers, FP's is a bargain.

It aint!!! they just see ppl paying ££££££'s for legits and think they are getting a deal!!

By the time the seller has sold 25-30 pairs, 1 person may complain, the majority wont coz they know no different!!! Same with other brands the net over!! Caveat Emptor.

Exactly. The fact im a Adidas fan was why I realised the colour of the 'r' was wrong.

Most people wont notice and he carries on selling. Still no reply from him! Sad

But YOU did notice and you must pursue this dude! we all have a duty as SSDB members to stop the rot! paypal are owned by ebay and they are continuing to let ppl get ripped off.

if had got them I'd have got his contact info and rang him every 30 seconds til the prick gave me my cash back

Or signed him up for every spam site out there!
