It was a mad movie. Granted, it took a while to get moving, but when it did it was great.
I'd give it 4 outta 5.
lol. If the film was 80 minutes long, it would have been a decent road horror. As it was, I just got bored. I had been looking forward to grindhouse for months.
I'm sure that the end of the film will be on youtube soon!
On a brighter note - I've just seen the trailer for alien vs predator: requiem and have just pissed myself!
Oh, and I saw "Kenny" tonight. It proves that the word "shitter" is always funny!
I didn't realise they were doing another AVP movie, especially after the joke the first one turned out to be!!! I'll have to keep the ol peepers peeled for that! Did you piss yourself in fear, or was it that f*cking bad?
I saw the trailer for "Kenny" last night. I can't believe they did a movie about a guy how fixes and installs porter loos! High-end entertainment (and yet probably still better than Spiderman3 or Transformers)

I can't believe they are making AVP:Requiem.
I'm not sure what the plot is, but it might be a romantic movie where the predator comes back to get the girl. I mean, they nearly got in on in the last film. I think they want to give the predator a more rounded character. He started off as just a killer, but by AVP you started to see a softer side. I expect that he'll go shopping for soft furnishings in Ikea in the new film.
But then an alien will come in, and there'll be a massive fight in the bit where you pick up the flatpacks.
OK, so that sounds stupid, but I bet that my idea above would be better than the real film will be.
Oh, I've just had an even better idea. The aliens infect pets at home, and get all face-huggy with the pets. Then when the warriors chest-burst from the pets there'll be rabbit, chinchilla and tortoise-alien hybrids.
It'll be like totally terrifying!

Now that I would go and see! Tortoise-alien hybrid - that would be sick! it'd be like a 4 foot long tortoise, with a spiked shell and it's neck would shoot outta the shell and then the extending mouth would shoot outta the main mouth. Shit man, I wanna see that!
*edit*
I just watched the trailer for AVPR, and I have to say, the trailer is better than the entire first movie!
It looks like it has potential, just depends if the guys directing it can hold their own (they've only done a few things before, directoraly, and one of them was a music video) The effects and the details seem better than AVP, and the violence/gore factor has gone up considerably.
I think i'm gonna keep an eye on this. You never know, we might be surprised. So long as one of the Predators doesn't walk out of a clothes shop and start dancing, we should be ok!

Saw American Gangster last night which was well worth the wait.
Wouldn't be surprised if Denzel is up for another Oscar.

Just back from seeing Eastern Promises.
Highly enjoyable, but just a tad on the slow side.
