Yeh i know it was all over in a flash,amazingly nobody got hurt as there was only the pilot in the chopper at the time and he walked away un-hurt,His name was Ralph an he was fuckin steaming in the bar every night with us,he still works there as a pilot....

What went wrong ?

As far as we know the pilot (Ralph) was going to put the chopper down in about the same spot that he binned it,it was all abit white-out with no trees around him which makes it very hard for him to see the ground,as he got closer to the ground the tail of the chopper hit the ground spinning the chopper around and putting it on it's side making all the blades come off and breaking the tail off.....

We were then stuck out in the middle of the canadian rockies for a good 4 hours....

Yah....the owners of last frontier heli were not very happy after he snapped there $750,000 chopper...He got a right old telling off.
