I did like Gears but went off it pretty quickly and i dont agree with all of the fuss about it , the controls are wrong and pretty frustrating i find!
Does look good on HD though , played it a lot on-line as well which was ok but there isnt enough maps or weapons or players allowed !
I tried the Lost Planet demo which i liked but im saving my money this month for Crackdown and the new Battlefield cos i am addicted to the old one and play on-line loads , more than i probably should!

I thought the controls were allright, if a tad complicated on Gears but you gotta try Lost.
I'll keep me eye open for those two you mentioned.
I take it they are 2nd world war fighty numbers.

Well there was definately a problem with trying to shoot things close up especially those weird jumpy things , you just cant see close up and then theres the getting stuck to things when you dont want to, rather annoying ! Its a lot more noticeable when playing on-line when everythings twice as frantic!
Theres a free playable demo of Crackdown on the marketplace at the mo which is brilliant, its set in the future ( i think!) and you are a cop with special powers fighting Gangs and is made by the Guy who invented the GTA range so theres loads of stuff you can do and dont have to stick to the plot and is gonna be on-line too which should be mad!
The last Battlefield (2 Modern Combat) was set in our time and for me is the best on-line game for the 360 (when the EA Servers are running properly!) the new Battlefield i think is set a little in the future but if i am right you are now rebelling against your superiors? Not sure how thats gonna work but if i can kill things and drive tanks etc i dont care!!

Call of Duty 3 , very good on-line game and its getting better with more downloadable maps etc . I still prefer Battlefield 2 though!
