I wasnt aware of this, i mearly stumbled upon the site after searching for online shops that sell a load of superstars..
I am putting a case together and am gonna contact them to see if they have some kind of explanation in regards this.
If not, then they are a gonner.
Please bear with me.

Ive been riped off by him. So has others on this forum! It makes me pretty mad to see him on here! I would never buy from him again real or fake. He sold me trainers this year, that he knew were fake. Yuk....

Quote:Hi Olly,
Yes involved with hewsonator account, but as soon as I realised that my
partner was selling fakes shoes I went my separate way. I ensured every
buyer a full refund who was unfortunate enough to stuck with these
watermelon shoes and I walked. I had the Footme website closed down (the
domain name was re registered - by accident) but as you can see
athletika has nothing to do with ‘hewsonator’ and ‘footme’. I ensure all
my supplies are legit. As you can tell as you will have received you
100% authentic trainers as *Athletika doesnt sell fakes*. I am here to
make an honest living and as you can tell I have one of the biggest
ranges for most things and only sell Authentic Items.
Hope this helps clear things up.
Rick
So, i recon if anyone is still stung from ricks previous partner tarnishing his good name, then contact athletika and ask for a refund!
As long as you can prove you bought them, he shud be OK with that.
EDIT - also, if anyone buys off athletika, and buys fakes, post pics!

Your not a beliver?
Has anyone else had RECENT issues with items bought from there?
I dont want the SSDB to be seen advertising fake sellers, but aside this situation that we've had a "explanation" for, what else is there to suggest he sells fakes?
Let me do some more digging..

right i got a mate to ring up and ask for neil, and there was no one there called neil hewson..
i also rang the mobile number on one of the two ebay auctions that "hewsonater" has on eBay, and i spoke to neil hewson..
he has nothing to do with them any more, and claims to be a "mature student" who is selling all he owns to travel round europe
so i feel that as athletika seems to be a proper company, and the fact that the hewsonater has nothing to do with them any more, i feel we're ok to advertise him..
at the end of the day, if you have a proper company and are trying to make a go of it, you wouldn't sell fakes, especially if you'd been rumbled by you bunch of blood thirsty fake superstar detectives!!
surely everyone has the right to a 2nd chance?
i guess we'll have to monitor this, and if ANYONE reports that they get sent anything dodgy from them, we'll have to take action against his company properly.

I think we have to agree to disagree here.......
Fake sellers do not deserve a second chance. They deserve whatever shit life throws at them and then some.
I think if you asked most fake sellers about their stock, there would be a partner or a friend or a dog or something else to take the blame.
The fact is fake shoes were sold on the Athletika website, and if anyone had an actual business relationship and their partner bought 100s of fakes then they would do something about it immediately - not months down the line after they've all been sold.

If athletika is a legit company (check against Companies House)and a business registered for VAT (over 35k income) and he is selling fakes knowingly, he is paying VAT on these items as part of his annual income. if he isnt he is commiting VAT fraud and selling fakes also, basically he is funked either way.
I am certain that several govt depts would take this info very seriously............
Crack on y'all. Make his day.

They're not selling fakes through the website anymore - the debate is whether they knowingly sold them previously.....

From the masses of investigational work i have carried out, the person behind "hewsonater" has nothing to do with athletika any more.
And athletika - in its present form - does not support, sell or condone fakes.
We seem to be in limbo here, so lets leave it at this unless anyone has RECENTLY been stung by fakes from athletika, or has any other info as to why this company should now not be trusted, then pipe up.
If your still out of pocket from the hewsonater, then as a sign of peace Athletika will refund you what you paid for the fakes, as long as you can prove you bought them i.e. have the eBay invoice thing.
I hope this is sufficient for you guys.
